General Description:  The seeds were known to the ancient world and used by Roman gourmands as an after-dinner mint. It is often served up in Indian restaurants as a little sugar-coated sweet. Fennel is a powerful oil and should be regarded with some caution. It has a myriad of uses including being a popular herb tea
