Description:  (a.k.a. Feather Crystals) - This carbonate is available in two forms - amorphous and crystalline. The latter was very common some years ago and used as bath salts where it could be coloured and perfumed easily. It is now more commonly replaced by the white amorphous powder form used in modern bath salts, water softeners, and bath blocks. It is highly soluble in water and easily coloured and perfumed
