General Description:  This elegant low shrub is without doubt on of the most important aromatic plants in the perfume and aromatherapy collection and provides most of the world's supply of lavender oil. It has such a large variety of uses that whole books are written about it. Visitors to the South of France, especially Provence in June will see masses of the familiar blueish flowers before they are cut
